ART MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER

Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I am a speech pathologist (AAC specialist) by trade, but I have always loved art. I was born in Los Angeles' Japan Town, Little Tokyo, and now split my time between my family in southern california and my husband and other work in northern california. I wanted to be an artist as a child, and have incorporated art and drawing whenever I could into my work. I have found that visuals really help with engaging others in any content I present, from adults to children. I now make posters, clip art for slides and other educational materials, and am a content artist for a research review service for speech pathologists. I run an art instagram account for speech pathologists called "drawn to aac" where I use art to illustrate speech therapy concepts and advice. I am working on collaborations with other speech pathologist content creators to make presentations, illustrations for children's books, and now I spend time creating content for canva that people in education and beyond can use for their work.
